EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This staff report asks the City Council to approve the Professional Services Agreement with Dudek for $899,335 to prepare a Sewer Master Plan (SMP) update and Program Environmental Impact Report (PEIR) for the City of Corona. The Project will develop a 10-year and 20-year Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and its associated Program Environmental Impact Report (PEIR) to upgrade the City's aging sewer system infrastructure and keep pace with its growth.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommended action
That the City Council:

a. Approve the Professional Services Agreement with Dudek to prepare a Sewer Master Plan Update and Program Environmental Impact Report for a term of approximately three years, May 15, 2024, through June 30, 2027, in the amount of $899,335 and waive any and all minor irregularities in the proposal.

b. Award Request for Proposal 24-028AT to Dudek to prepare a Sewer Master Plan Update and its associated Program Environmental Impact Report for the City.

c. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the Professional Services Agreement with Dudek in the amount of $899,335 including any substantive extensions, change orders, purchase orders, and amendments up to the amount authorized in Corona Municipal Code Section 3.08.070(I), which is equivalent to 10% or $89,933.

That the Corona Utility Authority review, ratify, and to the extent necessary, direct the City Council to take the above actions.
