EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This staff report asks the City Council to execute the Cooperative Agreements with the Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District ("District") for constructing approximately 1,600 linear feet of the underground storm drain system on South Joy Street from Second Street to Seventh Street, South Victoria Avenue from Second Street to Seventh Street, and 3,200 linear feet on Magnolia Avenue from Mount Wilson Street to Kellogg Avenue (Line 9A). The completion of these projects will assist with mitigating drainage deficiencies.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommended action
That the City Council:

a. Approve the Cooperative Agreements with the Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District for the design and construction of South Joy Street Storm Drain Construction Capital Improvement Project No. ST-2024-01 in the amount of $1,430,000, South Victoria Avenue Storm Drain Construction Capital Improvement Project No. ST-2024-02 in the amount of $1,430,000, and Corona Drain Line 9A Construction Capital Improvement Project No. ST-2024-03, in the amount of $3,710,000.

b. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the Cooperative Agreements with the Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District to memorialize the mutual understandings by and between the District and the City of Corona with respect to funding, design, construction, inspection, ownership, operation, and maintenance of the South Joy Street Storm Drain Project South Victoria Ave...
