EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This staff report asks the City Council to award Request for Proposals No. 24-001SB Certified Cla-Val Automatic Control Valve Maintenance & Repair Services to Budilo Construction as the primary and Griswold Industries dba Cla-Val, Co. as the secondary for Cla-Val maintenance services.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommended action
That the City Council:
a. Award the Request for Proposal No. 24-001SB Certified Cla-Val Automatic Control Valve Maintenance & Repair Services to Budilo Construction, in the amount of $150,000 per year, and to Griswold in the amount of $100,000 per year, through June 30, 2025, with two optional two-year renewals.
b. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the Maintenance/General Services Agreement with Budilo Construction in the amount of $150,000 per year, and with Griswold in the amount of $100,000 per year through June 30, 2025, with two optional two-year renewals, including any non-substantive extensions, change orders, purchase orders, and amendments up to the amount authorized by Corona Municipal Code Section 3.08.060(J) which is equivalent to 10% or $15,000 and $10,000 respectively.
That the Corona Utility Authority review, ratify, and to the extent necessary, direct the City Council to take the above actions.
