EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This staff report asks the City Council to consider a Maintenance/General Service Agreement (MGSA) with R&B Automation, Inc. in the amount of $250,000. R&B Automation, Inc. will provide the City of Corona Utilities Department with actuated valve on-call and on-site preventative maintenance, repair, replacement, and valve inspection services. Additionally, it will create an asset register to include all valves with actuators for the Department's computerized asset management and work order system.


RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommended action
That the:

a. City Council award Notice Inviting Bid 23-020AS for the Actuated Valve on-Call and On-Site Preventative Maintenance, Repair, and Asset Register Creation Project to R&B Automation, Inc., the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, for the total bid amount of $250,000 per fiscal year.

b. City Council authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to negotiate and execute the Maintenance/General Services Agreement with R&B Automation, Inc. in the amount of $250,000 per fiscal year for the initial contract term ending June 30, 2025, with one (1) optional three (3) year extension.

c. City Council authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to negotiate and execute non-substantive extensions, change orders, and amendments up to 10% of total contract cost or $25,000 as authorized by Corona Municipal Code Section 3.08.060(J).

d. City Council authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to issue a purchase order to R&B Automation, Inc. in the amount of $250,000 per fiscal year for the initial contract term ending ...
