EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This staff report asks City Council to approve a Service Agreement between the City of Corona and the County of Riverside for the Brae Burn Drive pavement overlay improvement project. The City of Corona performed asphalt restoration after a watermain replacement project on Cypress Point Drive, Oakland Hills Drive, and Brae Burn Drive and added an addendum to include the Riverside County area of Brae Burn Drive. This service agreement will allow the City of Corona to receive reimbursement for paving the County of Riverside's portion of this project.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommended action
That the City Council authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the Service Agreement with the County of Riverside for the Brae Burn Drive pavement overlay improvement project in the amount of $32,633.
That the Corona Utility Authority review, ratify, and to the extent necessary, direct that the City Council take the above actions.

BACKGROUND & HISTORY:
After completion of the emergency potable watermain replacement, the City of Corona bid, in accordance with Corona Municipal Code Section 3.08.110, the asphalt restoration project on Cypress Point Drive, Oakland Hills Drive, and Brae Burn Drive.
The County of Riverside (County) was planning to restore the asphalt in the area during May 2023, but after a meeting with the City of Corona (City), County staff requested the City to include the remaining portion of Brae Burn Drive in the scope of work.
