City Council consideration to approve a Maintenance/General Services Agreement with Guaranteed Janitorial Services, Inc. for janitorial services and to approve a Third Amendment to the Maintenance/General Services Agreement with Come Land Maintenance Co., Inc.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommended action
That the City Council:
1. Approve a Maintenance/General Services Agreement with Guaranteed Janitorial Services, Inc. of Chino Hills, CA in the amount of $540,000 as an exception to bidding pursuant to Corona Municipal Code (CMC) 3.08.140(E) based upon the findings noted in this report.
2. Approve a Third Amendment to the Maintenance/General Services Agreement with Come Land Maintenance Co., Inc. of Burbank, CA in the amount of $225,000 as an exception to bidding pursuant to Corona Municipal Code (CMC) 3.08.140(E) based upon the findings noted in this report.
3. Authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute the above noted Agreement with Guaranteed Janitorial Services, Inc. and Third Amendment with Come Land Maintenance Co. and to approve necessary change orders or amendments up to the amount provided by CMC 3.08.060(J) for both Guaranteed Janitorial Services, Inc. and Come Land Maintenance Co.
4. Authorize the Purchasing Agent to issue a purchase order to Guaranteed Janitorial Services, Inc. and a change order to Come Land Maintenance Co. in accordance with the duly authorized and executed agreement and amendment.
5. Authorize the City Manager or his designee and City Attorney to negotiate and execute five one year agreement renewals with Guaranteed Janitorial Services, Inc. and any extensions and/or amendments which are either non-substantive or are otherwise in compliance with the City Council's actions hereunder.
