RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommended action
That the City Council:
1. Approve and authorize the City Manager, or his designees, to execute a First Amendment to the Cooperative Agreement between the City and the City of Norco, in the amount of $364,404.98, to reimburse the City for City of Norco's fair share contribution for the pavement rehabilitation of River Road and Hamner Avenue within the City of Norco's city limits.
2. Approve an appropriation and revenue estimate increase in the amount of $364,404.98 within the Public Works Transportation Grant/Agreement Fund for the Capital Improvement Project titled "2017 Street Rehabilitation Project."

ANALYSIS:
On April 4, 2018, the City executed a Cooperative Agreement between the City and the City of Norco to reimburse the City for the City of Norco's fair share contribution for the pavement rehabilitation of River Road within the City of Norco's city limits. The estimated amount for that portion of River Road was $140,830.20. The City of Norco requested to extend improvements on Main Street into Norco's city limit on Hamner Avenue to Hidden Valley Parkway.
The 2017 Street Rehabilitation Project, Project No. 2017-06 now consists of pavement rehabilitation of approximately 18 lane-miles of major streets in the following areas: Lincoln Avenue between Rincon Street and the City's northerly limits; Main Street/Hamner Avenue between Grand Boulevard and Hidden Valley ...
