City Council and Corona Utility Authority consideration of an award of RFP 18-051CA to Knudsen Grading (dba Green Mountain Engineering) and Hardy and Harper Inc. for On-call Site Grading and Stockpiled Spoils Removal Services.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommended action
That the:
1. City Council award Request for Proposals of RFP 18-051CA to Knudsen Grading (dba Green Mountain Engineering) and Hardy and Harper Inc. for On-call Site Grading and Stockpiled Spoils Removal Services for $130,000 to each contractor per fiscal year pursuant to Corona Municipal Code (CMC) 3.08.060(H) based upon the findings noted in this report.
2. City Council authorize the General Manager to execute Maintenance/General Services Agreements (MGSA) with Knudsen Grading (dba Green Mountain Engineering) and Hardy and Harper Inc. in the amount of $130,000 each per fiscal year, with initial award period of September 5, 2018 through June 30, 2020, and two (2) two-year extensions.
3. City Council authorize the Purchasing Agent to issue purchase orders to Knudsen Grading (dba Green Mountain Engineering) and Hardy and Harper Inc. in the amount of $130,000 each, per fiscal year.
4. City Council authorize the General Manager and City Attorney or their designees to negotiate and execute non-substantive extensions, change orders and amendments up to the amount provided by Corona Municipal Code Section 3.08.060(J) and/or amendments to this agreement through June 30, 2024 pursuant to Ordinance No. 2790.
5. Corona Utility Authority (CUA) review, ratify, and to the extent necessary, direct that the City Council take the above actions.
