RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommended action
That the City Council:
1. Award Request for Proposals No. 19-022AO for On-Call Emergency Traffic Signal Repair and General Maintenance Services to Bear Electrical Solutions, Macadee Electrical Construction, and Siemens with an annual contract amount not to exceed $75,000 to each firm and a total not to exceed $225,000 per year for a two-year term.
2. Authorize the City Manager, or their designee, to execute Maintenance General Services Agreements with Bear Electrical Solutions, Macadee Electrical Construction, and Siemens in amounts not to exceed $75,000 each and a total not to exceed $225,000 per year.
3. Authorize the Purchasing Manager to issue purchase orders to Bear Electrical Solutions, Macadee Electrical Construction, and Siemens in amounts not to exceed $75,000 each and a total not to exceed $225,000 per year.
4. Authorize the City Manager, or their designee, to execute two additional two-year agreement amendments to the above-mentioned Maintenance General Services Agreements for subsequent fiscal years in amounts not to exceed $75,000 to each firm and a total not to exceed $225,000 per year, and to approve necessary change orders and/or amendments up to the amount provided by Corona Municipal Code Section 3.08.070(I).
5. Authorize the City Manager, or their designee, and City Attorney to negotiate and execute any amendments to these agreements which are either non-substantive or are otherwise in compliance with the City Council's actions hereunder.
