City Council Workshop 2020

The City Council will participate in and receive staff presentations that will provide an overview of City services, including: the City’s electric utility; potential for issuing a request for proposal for the solid waste function; service outlook for the Corona Cruiser; and the long-term outlook for the Corona Airport. The City Council will also participate in and receive a staff presentation on the City’s legislative platform. Additionally, the City Council will participate in and receive staff presentations on the City’s implementation of the Security Camera Master Plan, an overview of the forthcoming development of a strategic plan, the potential for developing an Adopt-a-park Program, and discussion of the potential for developing a policy for the cost recovery of booking fees. Finally, the City Council will also participate in and receive staff presentations on Fire Department staffing and overtime use, potential changes to the Temporary Sign Ordinance, franchise licensing for tow services, and a presentation and discussion of the City’s Facility Rental Policy. The City Council will review the presentations and provide feedback and direction to staff.
